Kris Barnes, Executive Vice President of Resolute Investments, leads all company developments, acquisitions, and day-to-day office operations. His leadership, and his ability to assess and solve problems, creates a perfect mix from which to build teams that are successful in navigating new challenges and asset types. He prides himself in understanding the details of developments and acquisitions, but also in navigating the big picture of what an overall investment is working to accomplish, for the company and our investors. More specifically, Kris is involved in the full life cycle of the deal, from sourcing and underwriting, to entitlement and construction, and finishing with lease up and asset management.

Kris was born into the real estate business, as his family has been involved in real estate and development for over 50 years. He can remember learning to drive in new commercial subdivisions, and later digging ditches on new developments as a college student. During Kris’s 18-year career, he has spearheaded or been involved in over $300M in real estate acquisition and development projects, including medical office, industrial, self-storage, multi-family, retail, townhomes, and office.

Kris is a man of faith, a loving husband, and the father of two beautiful girls. He is a Colorado native and enjoys playing golf and soccer, skiing and scuba diving.
